A Robust Double IPA Profile

If you like something strong, if you enjoy bitterness without fearing alcohol, if you are familiar with West Coast American brewers but want to discover new horizons, this should seduce you! This “Techno Cybotronic Double IPA” holds a big hop aroma (Chinook, Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin, Centennial) which develops a flavourful bitterness (95 IBU) into the finish. Pale malt plays its part in this very bitter taste, and the result is a well-balanced beer (9.5% ABV), as heady as its US counterparts – yet this beer is from Italy…

The “Birrificio Independente Elav” was launched in 2010 just near Bergamo (Lombardy, Italy) by Valentina Ardemagni and Antonio Terzi, already owners of two pubs. Having produced exclusively for their pubs, they opened production to external demand.
