A Reformed Outlaw
This red lager from Rio Grande pours up with a fluffy white head and a lovely aroma of yeast and caramel. A mild bitterness gives way to light fruit (banana) and fresh flax seed bread on the tongue and a nice salty finish.
The Munich-style maltiness makes this one a great thirst quencher; it really cuts the dust after a long day in the saddle when you finally get your boots off and the sun is setting over the mesa. Pour a little in your hat; your horse will appreciate the complex grains and join you in your revery.
