A Case of Amnesia

The name would seem to come from the rather high (7.2%) gravity of this earthy offering from Indian Wells. The initially ample head foams down to a nice lacing above a dark copper-colored IPA.

The taste is softly hoppy, leafy with green apples and toasted grain, with just a trace of Bergamot. The light carbonation gives it the feel of a true ale in the mouth, with a pleasant, fermented fruit finish. Zero bitterness makes this a standout among American IPAs, and one I’m not likely to forget, despite the label.
