An Australian Icon

Pale ale, pale malt – here, the famous and popular Two-Row with its light straw colour and clean, sweet and mild malty flavour. This malt is in the limelight for English and American craft beers. And clearly for Australian versions too, with this Original Pale Ale from the Coopers Brewery based in Adelaide (South Australia), whose first batch goes back to 1862. This company is also the world’s largest producer of homebrewing equipment.

This 4.5% ABV ale fermented in the “Burton-upon-Trent style” has a good floral character balanced with a faded bitterness and a soapy hop. The mouth-feel is medium-bodied and a bit watery. Let’s call it an easy one. A good session beer for hot weather or for the drinker seeking to cool off quickly.
